The Media and Tiger

I do not like Tiger Woods' behavior and what he did. So, let me say that up front.
I'm wondering how is it that people can be so influenced by the media's portrayl of certain issues though. The media has a problem with Tiger but I don't see anyone complaining about these reality shows with these men and their heiroms.

No one is outraged by rappers degrading women, advocating trading sex for cash, advocating unprotected sex, advocating sex without marriage. "Have a Baby By Me and Be A Millionaire," I could tear this to pieces but why? Say no more.

One celebrity gets millions of dollars in endorsements for saying degrading things about women and promoting promiscuity. Another celebrity simply acts out what rappers-- role models say do and he's butchered in the media. Ridiculous. It's all wrong isn't it? Who will step up and say enough is enough? How long will the public overlook some bad behavior and not all bad behavior.

Sexy Dress and Church?

The Bible says "Come as you are."
Does that mean wearing a club dress to church?
I am sure that God will accept and love you whether you are wearing something sexy or something casual, but your fellow congregation may not feel its appropriate. Well at BGC, Inc., we love the sexy look, the club dresses, and tight fitting garments, but would not wear them to church. If you think about it in another way, would you wear that mini skirt to an interview? Would you wear your sexy sequins club dress to work? The same runs true in a church setting as well. Its not fashionable to go to church with sexy attire. I am not saying that you should worry about what people think of you, but be mindful of your attire and appearance. If the only clothes you have in your closet are the sexy ones, then layer them. Covering up defines maturity. Your confidence in your appearance is what makes you attractive, not your cleavage showing. Here are some tips for God fearing fashionistas with a closet full of sexy:

1) Layer Layer Layer: when wearing a garment that has low cleavage, then wear a camisol or tank underneath. Another option will be to wear a bolero jacket on top of the garment, you can really set it off with mixing colors such as a black vneck top, fuchsia pencil skirt, with a turquoise bolero jacket.

2) If its too tight, don't force it: know your size ladies, its imperative! If your pants cut of your circulation in the tummy area, don't wear them. Go one size up if you have to or put on a body magic garment. Think of all the sitting you are doing when you attend church.

3) Who let the thighs out: minis are in style, but so are knee length skirts. There is nothing that says fashion like a knee length pencil skirt. Get one thats not too tight because it can interfere with your walking stride.
