Is It Ever Okay To Lie???

I know the answer to this question, but I really want to know what you think. I mean people lie everyday for a mulitude of reasons. Some for good reason, some for downright stupid reasons. In your opinion is it ever okay to lie? Have you ever felt the need to lie? Justified to lie? Humph. I plead the 5th but would love to hear from you.
